Who We Are

Christina is the administrative assistant for the Orange County Women’s Business Center. She has over 10 years of experience in executive administrative support and corporate event planning, primarily in the finance industry. She earned her undergraduate degree at the University of California, Irvine. Christina looks forward to supporting her team who are passionate about helping entrepreneurs start and grow their businesses.

Jill Bosich is an award-winning business and culinary professional with a demonstrated history of success working in diverse culinary, bakery, food-and-beverage service management, hospitality, higher education, farm/ranch/agriculture and entrepreneurial industry segments. Jill has owned and operated her own online boutique bakery for 17 years in addition to running the education, training, and consulting arm of her business, The Range Rider, helping industry professionals achieve their personal, professional and business goals.

Kyu Jin Kang believes in small business entrepreneurship and is passionate about supporting start-ups. Having been in the food industry for the past 5 years, Kyu owned and operated a boba/milk tea business that he built from the ground up, taking care of its daily operations, menu creation, human resources, and marketing. With a background that also includes 8 years in the tech industry, working with software companies on app and video game publishing and development, Kyu has experience as a program manager, social media coordinator, and customer service supervisor, and has managed teams with members from Europe, to Asia, to Latin America.

Marisa Rambaran, MBA, PMP, is an operations consultant, working musician, vox/keys coach, and co-owner of a local youth athletics training business. She has over 15 years experience in multiple industries and functions, spanning all stages of the business growth cycle, while maintaining her entrepreneurial pursuits.

Ora Villalobos is inspired by entrepreneurship and synergy. With a diversified background as a business owner, consultant and angel investor, Ora is committed to inspire and champion entrepreneurs.

Sarah Solorio is a seasoned business professional with extensive experience in management, entrepreneurship, marketing, and operations. With a background that includes founding and managing her own boutique fitness studio, as well as roles in corporate management and merchandising, Sarah brings a unique blend of leadership, strategic thinking, and operational expertise to the OC WBC. Sarah holds an MA in Management from the University of York and a BS in Business Administration from Chapman University.  

Sheryl Utal is the founder and CEO of Japa Health, a venture backed digital health company focused on mitochondrial lifestyle medicine. She has raised over $1.3M for Japa Health, had 2 successful exits and has experience raising money from Venture Capital Investors, Angel Investors, Family Offices, SBA Loans and crowdfunding. Sheryl has experienced many more no’s than yes’s and has learned how to turn a no into success. 

Scarlet Huang joins the OC WBC with more than 15 years of experience as an accountant, CFO, controller with expertise in business planning, accounting, bookkeeping, operational management, and business restructuring. In addition, Scarlet has extensive experience in handling personal finance and asset management for high-net-worth individuals.

Tapasya Bali is a successful entrepreneur and seasoned finance executive with expertise in financial modeling and valuations. Specializing in tech, med-tech, and consumer companies, she has guided numerous businesses in defining their value propositions, developing go-to-market strategies, and exploring capital raising options across equity and debt instruments. Tapasya holds an MBA from NYU and a master’s in information systems from Baruch College.

Valeria Barrett, an award-winning leader in fashion and visual arts, passionately mentors new creatives and entrepreneurs. With 30 years of experience, she has served on boards and been featured in prestigious publications, driving success for top industry players like The Walt Disney Company, The Metropolitan Museum of Art, and NY Broadway Productions. Over 25 years, she launched four successful businesses in New York and California. Recognized as an expert in fashion, lifestyle, arts, and entertainment, Valeria‘s influence extends globally, making her a prominent figure in creative and entrepreneurial spheres.
