The Orange County Women’s Business Center was established in 2022 within the College of Business and Economics at California State University, Fullerton to support women entrepreneurs and business owners with starting and growing their business within Orange County. We offer one-on-one consulting, training programs, networking opportunities and access to resources. Our goal is to grow the Orange County community with more successful women-owned businesses.

Equip Yourself and Your Team

Orange County In-Home Licensed Childcare Program

Jan. 17, 24, & 31 | Feb. 7, 14, & 21 | Mar. 12, 2014 | 6 - 7:30 p.m.

The Orange County Licensed In-Home Childcare Program is a seven-week program — where we will walk you through all the childcare regulations and requirements and position you to learn the business side to running an in-home childcare business. As a participant of this program, you will receive one-on-one coaching during and after the program, as well as a free in-home inspection prior to applying for your license.  Limited to 25 participants. 

There is no cost to be a participant, but attendance for all sessions is required including a minimum of one meet up hosted by First 5 Orange County. Participants who complete the program could be eligible for up to $5,000 in grant funding.

Building a Fashion Empire: From Startup to Store Shelves

Feb. 20, 22, 27, & 29 | 6 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.


In the ever-evolving fashion industry, breaking into the market and securing coveted shelf space in physical stores represents a monumental achievement. Our accelerator series offers a comprehensive set of expertly curated sessions, each thoughtfully designed to address the critical aspects of the journey from a fashion startup to store shelves.

We believe in celebrating your success. Upon successfully graduating from this accelerator series, you will receive a certificate of completion, recognizing your dedication and expertise, presented during our in-person graduation and networking mixer. You'll have the opportunity to meet well-respected industry guest speakers who will share their success stories, industry insights, and future fashion trends.

All services offered through the Orange County Women’s Business Center are at no cost to you thanks to funding received from California State University, Fullerton at the College of Business and Economics and a cooperative agreement funded through the Small Business Administration (SBA). The Orange County Women’s Business Center also receives grant funding from the State of California through the Governor’s Office of Business and Economic Development.
